The Cook Islands is a state of fifteen small volcanic islands in the South Pacific. The Internet Assigned Numbers Authority gave them the country domain ".ck", following the international standard list.

Like the UK with .co.uk etc., the Cook Islands have mandatory second-level of codes to indicate the type of organisation. They are:

• .edu.ck: educational institutions
• .gov.ck: government agencies
• .co.ck: business organisations
